It has been a month since my friends, Chinh and Ann, welcomed their first child into the world.  How quickly time has passed by.  It seems like yesterday that they got married, and now, they have become someone’s parents.  Last weekend was the baptism for their son, Cayden.  I was the appointed photographer, and was excited to cover this event for them and their adorable baby.

The baptism was held at The Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Santa Ana.

The star of show was taking a rest before his big moment…

The ceremony began with…

the lighting of the candle.

And then the blessing for the baby.

Followed by the sprinkling of holy water.

And finally the blessing for the parents.

Congratulations Chinh and Ann! Baby Cayden sure is an adorable bundle of  joy!

I’ve decided to keep the old site up for a little longer so that you may still view old posts and galleries.   Just in case you want to revisit, the old site can be found here.
